Israeli police forcibly remove two Palestinian families from Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood homes, citing Supreme Court ruling that houses belonged to Jews.

Peace Now had previously called on the government and the police to prevent the eviction of the families and stop the settlement plans in the Palestinian neighborhoods of Jerusalem, so as not to shut the door on the chance for a solution.

Today the US State Department said that the move constitutes violation of Israel's obligations to Road Map
