Peace Now is a grassroots movement with a small staff that is subject to the Peace Now board.

The Peace Now board is composed of volunteers. It meets once a month and receives reports from the staff and makes decisions regarding policy, positions and activities

 

Yariv Oppenheimer
General Director
Yariv began his political career as the Director of the Labour Party Youth Faction. In 2002 he was appointed as the Spokesperson for Peace Now. Within a few months he also became the General Director of the Movement where he now guides the political policy and direction of Peace Now.
Yariv also takes part in marathons throughout the country, running in the name of Peace Now

Hagit Ofran
Settlement Watch Director
Hagit is Widely-recognized as Israel’s foremost expert on West Bank and East Jerusalem settlements; Hagit is responsible for monitoring, scrutinizing and analyzing of Israeli construction and planning of settlements in the West Bank. Her work includes traveling daily throughout the West Bank and East Jerusalem monitoring settlement-related developments.
Hagit has been a political activist from her teens, even volunteering in Peace Now youth movement. In 2006 Hagit was appointed as assistant to the then Settlement Watch Director, and within a year had taken on the role herself.

Lee Wilson
Development and Communications Director
Lee made Aliya to Israel from the UK in 1993, and has been working in Peace Now since 2002.
Lee has a BA in History and Geography from the Hebrew University, Jerusalem. She has filled many roles from Tel Aviv activities coordinator, Israeli-Palestinian Coalition Coordinator, Fundraiser and Grant writer.
Currently Lee coordinates all the movement’s Foreign Relations, International Media connections and Resource Development.

Etai Mizrav
National Activities Coordinator
Etai is a Jerusalemite who has been active in Labour Party activities since his teens, and joined the Peace Now Jerusalem team in 2009.
Etai is also a reservist combat officer in the Israeli military.

Chen Egri
Tel Aviv Activities Coordinator
Chen is 27 years of age joined the Peace Now staff in 2010. Before that she worked as a media coordinator in Maslan, and studied Political Governance and Communications at Ben Gurion University.

Danielle Blumenstyk
Jerusalem Activities Coordinator
Danielle joined Peace Now at the end of 2010. She has a BA in International relations and communications from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. She previously worked at the Hebrew University's foreign division for Development and Public relations, and served as the National Leadership Training Coordinator at the CISV international Organization.

Rohale Maayan
Administrative Manager
Rohale has been an active part of Peace Now since the year 2000. She has a B.E.D. from the Kibbutzim Seminar. Rohale has filled many roles from Tel Aviv office manager, producer of printed material, a Project Manager on various large scale campaigns and the producer of all of our demonstrations.

Lauren Eisen
Communications and Fundraising Coordinator
Lauren joined Peace Now in September of 2010. She holds a BA in Journalism and Public Relations. She works with international fundraising, communications, social media and as web master. Lauren previously worked as a fundraiser for the UW Oshkosh Foundation. 
 

 

Ben Carroll
Intern
Ben is working as an intern at Peace Now this summer. He is currently studying International Relations at the University of St. Andrews, Scotland. He has travelled to Israel on several occasions - he has family spread throughout the country and also spent 2 months working on KIbbutz Ein Gev last year. Aimee Riese
Intern
Aimee is working as intern at Peace Now. She is currently studying History and International Relations at the London School of Economics. She has previously interned at the Tony Blair Faith Foundation in London, and B'Tselem in Jerusalem.
